Main Activities and Focus

BVIM and the Vietnam Investment Fund series seek long-term capital appreciation by making strategic minority investments in leading Vietnamese businesses primarily through traditional private equity, privatization/ equitization opportunities, and to a lesser extent OTC stocks, and infrastructure projects.

BVIM and VIF series provide capital to their investee companies for growth & expansion, restructuring, M&A and other purposes. We take long-term views, during which we work closely with our investee companies, adding value throughout the holding period. Deals are often structured/ negotiated, providing important downside protection, optimizing the risk return profile of the fund.

BVIM’s main distinguishing factors include: the ability to pursue classic private equity opportunities, the partners’/ sponsors’ strong local infrastructure and network, the team members’ outstanding backgrounds.

BVIM aspires towards becoming the leading asset management firm in Vietnam. Our firm is in the process of launching VIF II, pursuing a similar strategy as VIF.
