James Lewis

James Lewis is co-founder of Vietnam Partners and Chairman of Geometry Group, an investment management holding company based in New York City. Prior to founding Geometry, James was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley for 17 years, serving as Chairman of the Risk Management Committee and had senior management responsibilities for the fixed income and equity trading businesses. James received his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and is a member of the University’s Advisory Council of the Graduate School of Business. He holds a BS in Marketing from Miami University of Ohio and is a member of its business advisory council.
Le Dao Nguyen
Vice Chairman of Board of Management
Nguyen has 28 years’ experience in banking and finance in Vietnam. Prior to serving as Vice Chairman of BVIM Board of Management, he was Senior Executive Vice President for 12 years, Head of the Guarantee Services Department for three years and Deputy Head of the Credit Appraisal Department for nearly four years. Currently, Nguyen is BOM member of BIDV, Chairman of BIDV Financial Investment JSC, Member of the BOD of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP), Chairman of Bank for Investment and Development of Cambodia (BIDC), Vice Chairman of Myanmar Investment and Development Company (MIDC). Nguyen graduated from Technical University Brno (Czech). He holds a Master of Business Administration degree.
Bradley LaLonde was the BVIM’s General Director and Chief Investment Officer since BVIM was established in January 2006. He had more than 25 years in executive positions at Citibank in a variety of emerging market countries, including five years in Vietnam as Citibank’s CEO from 1994-1999. Bradley is a co–founder of, and partner in Vietnam Partners LLC, the U.S. investment firm that is the joint venture partner with BIDV. He holds a Master degree in International Development Economics from Columbia University (1977) and a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan (1975).
