Nguyen Khac Than - Chairman of the Board - Mr. Than is currently the Deputy General Directorof BIDV. Mr. Than has some 30 years of experience in banking and finance in Vietnam. He joined BIDV in 1979. Thereafter, he held many important positions. He started with the Bank for Investment and Construction - Ha Bac Branch as Manager of Plan and Statistics Division (1979-1989); and Deputy Director of the Bank for Investment and Development - Bac Ninh Branch (1990 – 1999). He once served as a Director of State Bank of Vietnam at Bac Ninh Branch (1999-2002) and spent years as Director at BIDV’s Transaction Center I (2002 – 2004).

Mr. Than also has experience in company incorporation and has very close relationships with the related authorities and government agents. He is now in charge of the Bank’s credit management with a loan portfolio of over US$5 billion. He is also the Chairman of BIDV Securities Company - an affiliated company of BIDV. His credentials are in credit management, bank management and securities services.
Mr. Than holds a post-graduate Diploma in Economics from the National Economics University and a Bachelor degree in Banking from the Academy of Finance.

James W. Lewis, MBA - Vice Chairman of the Board - Mr. Lewis is a co–founder and Chairman of Geometry Group, an investment management holding company based in New York City with US$1.5 billion of assets under management. The investment activities of Geometry Group, founded in 1989, include the management of stocks, bonds, cash, venture capital, private equity and real estate investments. Prior to founding Geometry, Lewis was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley for 17 years, serving as Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, and had senior management responsibilities for the fixed income and equity trading businesses.

Mr. Lewis is a private investor in early stage growth companies, serving as an advisor and board member to these companies. He advises a number of private equity funds and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago where he received his M.B.A. in Finance, as well as the Business Advisory Council of Miami University where he received his B.S. degree. He also serves as a Director of the US-Austrian Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Directors of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Vo Bich Ha - Director - Ms. Ha has more than 15 years in the banking and investment sector of Vietnam. She joined BIDV in 1991 and has assumed key positions at Finance and Accounting Department, and Treasury Department in BIDV’s Head Office. She served as Head of BIDV’s Capital Management Department which manages its portfolio of investments for 2 years. She now serves as Director of Investment Department of BIDV’s Head Office. Her responsibilities include management of BIDV’s investments in companies and projects, participating on boards, and monitoring the performance of BIDV’s subsidiaries. She is in charge of managing portfolio of BIDV including more than 50 affiliated and joint - stock companies with cost value of US $150 million.

Ms. Ha graduated from Hanoi Banking Institute and she is now completing MBA degree in Hanoi School of Business, National University.
